TRAIN SMASH
Death Roll Of 39 LONDON, October 2. An inquest on the victims of the Scottish express smash will open tomorrow. The L.M.S. Railway correspondent states that the death roll is not expected to exceed 39, as previously announced. A heavy crane is being used to shift the last heavy masses of debris. The Perth to London express was derailed between Boxmoor and Tring. The engine and six carriages left the line, four of the coaches overturning.
