BROADCAST FOR ENEMY
Australian Charged (7.30 p.m.) NEW YORK. Sent. 27. General MacArthur’s headquarters announced that the Australian, John Holland, has been arrested and charged with broadcasting enemy propaganda and attempting to destroy the morale of Australian
troops. Holland, it is alleged, was attempting to flee to Manchuria and was picked up by three counter intelligence men as he sat in a barber’s chair at the Grand Hotel, Sapporo.
