NO SABOTAGE
Saigon Rubber Trade (12.46 a.m.) LONDON. Sept. 28. A leading member of Saigon's rubber trade (M. Pierre Janssen I in an interview said that Indo- ( hina has a stock of 170,008 ton ,
of rubber, probably the largest stock pile in the world, says the Saigon correspondent of the Associated American Press. The Japanese are guarding the hoard. M. Janssen said there was practically no sabotage of the rubber trade by the Japanese during the war. IndoChina's plantations are probably nearer normal than those in Malaya and the Netherlands East Indies, but operating costs are 200 to 300 per cent higher than last year.
