VEHICLES COLLIDE
Man Fatally Injured (N.Z.P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH. Sept 28 Injuries from which he died about two hours later were received by J McLean, aged 40, of Waitara, painter and paperhanger, when the truck he was driving collided with a car driven by H. Roberts, of New Plymouth, on the main road a short distance north of New Plymouth this evening. A passenger in the truck. Mark Soffe aged 17, of Waitara, and Roberts, were admitted to hospital with slight injuries. McLean was a married man with, one child.
