ST. JOHN’S CLUB
Annual Meeting The President (Rev. , Father P. E. Heagney, S.M.), moving the adoption of the report at the annual meeting of St. John’s Tennis Club, said that the club had experienced a successful season and with many of its members released from the Armed Forces the prospects for next season were bright. Appreciation was expressed of the help given to the club by its many supporters. It was made possible through their efforts to have the four courts topdressed. He congratulated the club on its unbeaten record in the friendly inter-club matches controlled and hoped that with the resumption of inter-club tennis they would be represented in all grades.
