PORT OF TRIESTE
Yugoslav Concession (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 25 The Yugoslav Embassy announced that Yugoslavia was now ready to agree to internationalisation of the port of Trieste, though not tiie town, thus giving up its earlier claim for full Yugoslav sovereignty for Yugoslavia had an undeniable right to the town, said an Embassy spokesman. Italy's Consultative Assembly was inaugurated in Rome to-day in the Chamber of Deputies. . A Christian Democrat member cried: “Lon* live Italian Trieste.” The entire 400 members of the Assembly, including the Communist Minister of Justice. Signor Palmiro 'Togliatti, rose to their feet and joined in the cheering for Trieste.
