OVERSEAS MAILS Overseas mails will close at the Cffiet Post Office, Timaru, as under:— AIR MAILS Australia, United Kingdom, Eire and Continent of Europe—Mon., Wed., and Fridays, noon; late fee, 1.10 p.m Africa, India, Iran, Iraq, Palestine. Syria, China, etc.—Mondays and Wednesday, noon; late fee 1.10 p.m. ♦Fiji. “Tonga and “Samoa—Everv Tuesday, 2 p.m.; late fee, 3.15 p.m.. Norfolk Island—Wed. and Fridays, noon; late fee, 1.-0 p.m. 'New Caledonia—Mon., Wed., Fridays noon; late fee 1.10 p.m.; Tues, and Thursdays, 2 p.m.; late fee 1.10 p.m ‘Beyond the Dominion, surface rates of postage apply. Airmail within New Zealand, Id each half ounce in addition to surface rates of postage. INWARD MAILS DUE TIMARU Trans-Tasman air mails, Tuesday. Thursday, Saturday.
