LAUNCH WRECKED
Occupants Located (N.Z.P.A.) NAPIER. Sept. 26. Grave fears are entertained for the safety of two fishermen. J. Cavelero and A. Smiley, missing since Sunday in the launch Olive Yesterday, when the launch had not returned, two fishing boats set out in search but were turned back by heavy seas and rough weather. To-day another launch equipped with wireless left Port Ahuriri, while a private nlane is searching the area where the Olive was known to be fishing. Shortly before noon the police received word that the plane had sighted a wrecked launch between Bare Island and the mainland. The crew were on the northern tip of the island while a launch was standing by ready to pick them up. The crew had a supply of food.
