Post-war Plans (7.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 16. Calling on 30,000 reserve officers to join the permanent service, the Navy reveals plans for a post-war strength of between 500,000 and 550,000 and also 100.000 Marines. The Navy at present is 3,295,000 strong.
