Burma Campaign (10.45 p.m.) COLOMBO, Aug. 14. The South-east Asia Command communique says: In Burma Indian troops advancing along the axis of the Toungoo-Mawchi road reached Mile- I stone 36 and occupied a village without opposition. Our troops made wide sweeps in the Penwegon area, north of Rangoon, and Inflicted casualties on the enemy.
