WEATHER SOUTH CANTERBURY FORECAST

UNSETTLED The following is the forecast for South Canterbury issued bv the Meteorological Office, Wellington, tor the period ending 5 p.m. to-day:— General Situation A depression is approaching the South Island from the west. Forecast Winds.—Moderate southerly winds gradually predominating. Weather.—Overcast and dull with occasional drizzle and rain; temperatures cold.
