RETURN TO BRITAIN

Mediterranean Troops LONDON, July 22. Troops of the Central Mediterranean Force travelling to Britain on leave are making the trip of 900 miles by road through some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe. Every evening about 40 vehicles, carrying between 500 and 700 men. arrived at Calais, the terminus of the overland journey from a village in Austria. There are also camps at Inn.-bruek. Ula. Mainz and Sedan, where the leave parties stay overnight. The camps have been given names famous in the Eighth Army and in its history.
