Spy I n U.S. Army NEW YORK, July 18. The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested May! Wacker, aged 20. an alleged German espionage agent, who posed as an American soldier suffering from amnesia when the Allies entered Berlin anti was brought to the United States as a war casualty. Wacker was born in Berlin and came to New York as a child with his family, who were interned as dangerous aliens following the Pearl Harbour incident and repatriated to Germany. Wacker attended an espionage school, was late;' released from the German Army, arriving in the United States as an amnesia victim named William Walker. Wacker was admitted to hospital at an army camp near Boston, where he was publicised by Press and radio because of his horrible experiences in a Nazi concentration camp. The F. 8.1. established his true identity through finger prints taken when he was deported to Germany.
