Personal Mr B. Martin. Timaru. is relieving Mr A. Andrews, of the Railway Department. who is indisposed. Mr and Mrs F. Christie have taken up residence at "Tara Bank." Mrs B. Pizzy is an inmate of the Timaru Public Hospital. Mr and Mrs P. O'Connor have left to reside at Studholme Junction. Miss Joan Minnis, postmistress at Orari. has resigned owing to her approaching marriage. Mr H. Wilson. Temuka. is acting as postmaster until Miss Audrey Stanton -takes up duties at the end of the month. The Snowstorm What, is considered a record fall of snow for Orari was experienced on Saturday morning when 10 inches was recorded. The snow left a trail of damage Most, residents are still without telephone communication and several houses are still without electric power. _
