FOOD FOR EUROPE
Sir,—The extra food wasted on a certain lew would not go far toward alleviating the sufferings of 50 millions of people, amongst whom are shopkeepers almost at breaking-point. I would like to conclude this correspondence by assuring Mr G. Vaughan Hooper that, the British Government will consider any complaints or accusations regarding war criminals from this or any other country concerned. In the name of common justice let this be accompanied by a genuine attempt at an equal sharing of the means of existence. —I am. etc., EQUALITY.
