WEATHER SOUTH CANTERBURY FORECAST

FAIR TO FINE The following is the forecast for South Canterbury issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the period ending 5 p.m. to-day:— General Situation A stationary anti-cyclone is over the Tasman Sea and the North Island. A series of depressions continues to pass in the far south. Forecast Winds.—Light to moderate and variable but a temporary southwesterly change during the day. Weather.—Fair to fine apart from a few showers with the wind change, temperatures becoming cooler.
