CLANDEBOYE
Personal Miss E. Reid, Temuka, and Miss E. Stuart, Dunedin, who have been the guests of Miss Barbara Botting, have returned home. Miss M. H. Clayton, Lelthfield, is visiting friends in Clandeboye. Mrs H. T. and Maxwell Dunn, Timaru, who have been the guests of Mrs G. H. Mulligan, Clandeboye, have left for Lake Tekapo. Miss Kathleen Hawkins, Orari, is the guest of Miss E. Langrell. Mr Gordon Langrell has returned home after visiting friends in Lyndhurst. Miss Gertrude Templeton paid a brief visit to Clandeboye before leaving for Wellington and Levin. Members of the executive of the Clandeboye Patriotic Social Committee met recently at the home of Mr and Mrs Clark to make a presentation to Telegraphist C. Vinnell. Mr G. A. N. Bolderston, chairman of the Patriotic Committee, conveyed the best wishes of the community to the guest, and Mr J. Donehue, secretary, made the presentation of a dispatch case. Mr G. H. Mulligan spoke briefly on behalf of the local branch of the Returned Services’ Associatiom
