Clothing Manufacture
Restrictions on Australian clothing manufacture are to be relaxed where this can be done without impairing essential war activities. This was stated yesterday by the Minister for the War Organisation of Industry (Mr J. J. Dedman), who said that where manufacturers could convince the authorities of their ability to produce an Improved standard of clothing with- * out impairing output they would be allowed to do so.
