Admiral Sir W. H. Cowan
LONDON, Sept l iber 5. Admiral Sir Walter H. C I 'an, r.ged 13, who was recently annciinced as hiving been taking part in commando raids against enemy-occupied islands in the Mediterranean area, has been awarded a bar to the DB.O. Admiral Cowan won the D.S.O. in the Nile campaign in 1868.
