SLAV NATIONAL DAY
Mr Fraser’s Message To King Peter (N.Z.P.A.I WELLINGTON. Sept. 7. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) sent 'to King Peter on the occasion of his birthday and Yugoslav National Day, a message of greeting on behalf of the people and Government of New Zealand to the people of Yugoslavia. The message expressed confidence that the sufferings of the Yugoslavs so courageously endured, especially by the splendid guerrilla forces who had engaged so many Nazi divisions, would shortly be ended and that full democratic nationhood would soon be restored to them.
