TIMARU BRANCH At the monthly meeting of the Timaru Branch of the Plunket Society Mrs Herdman presided. The nurse’s report stated that there had been 40 new cases for the month. Visits to homes were: Timaru 283, outstations 65, office (Timaru) 968, outstations 347. Tire committee discussed the proposed children’s fancy dress party and it was decided to hold it in the Bay Hall on September 16. It was decided to have classes of fancy dress—most original, best, best pair, and five years and under. Various members of the committee promised to give prizes in each class.
