CLUB Good Financial Position President Re-elected Although the activities of the club were very much restricted and no championship matches or friendly games were played, the financial position of the club is very sound considering the short time it has been in existence, stated the report submitted by the president 'Mr R. L. Stokes) at the annual meeting of the Temuka Park Tennis Club. The balance-sheet showed that the club was £3l/11/- in credit. A tribute to the ladies’ committee was paid by Mr R. I. McGregor, who said that the most satisfactory financial position of the club was due largely to their work. It was decided that the club affiliate with the South Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association. It was agreed that afternoon tea arrangements be shared with the Temuka Croquet Club. It was decided

Mr Warne Pearse; president, Mr R. L. Stokes; vice-president, Mr R. I. McGregor; secretary. Miss D. Laurenson; treasurer, Mrs R. L. Stokes; club captain, Mr R. S. Jones; tea convenor, Mrs R. L. Stokes; auditor, Mr R. I. McGregor; committee, officers and Mrs Laurenson, Miss Hanifin, Mr D. B. Stringleman and Mr N. W. Traves; competition committee, club captain and president; delegate to South Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association, Mr R. L. Stokes.
