STAFF APPOINTMENTS
Union Steam Ship Co. Ltd. FORMER TIMARU OFFICIALS (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. The Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd., announces the following staff appointments: Mr A. N. Leslie, chief assistant to the management, and Mr H. H. Dobbie, branch manager at Christchurch, to be joint assistant managers at Head Office. Wellington. Mr P. L. Hodge, branch manager, Invercargill, to be branch manager at Christchurch. Mr L. L. Derbidge, sub-manager, Lyttelton, to be branch manager at Invercargill. Mr H. G. Edwards, chief clerk, Napier, to be sub-manager at Lyttelton. Mr Leslie joined the staff of the Union Steam Ship Company in Timaru, and was chief clerk when he left 10 years ago to take up the position of chief assistant to the management at Wellington. Mr Dobbie was branch manager at Timaru before he took up a similar position at Dunedin. From there he was appointed branch manager at
