FAIRLIE HARVEST CAMP
Arrangements In Hand
Arrangements are now being made at the Fairlie showgrounds for the harvest camp which will be established in about a fortnight. As was the case last year the men will occupy tents, the buildings on the showgrounds being used as cook house and mess rooms. There is a shortage of men in the district to harvest early crops, and to do haymaking. and farmers are experiencing difficulty in securing sufficient labour.
