At a parade of the Air Training Corps in the Drill Hall. Cadet F. S. Martin, who has poined the R.N.Z.A.F. and will leave next week to take up his new duties was bidden farewell. Pilot Officer G. Lyall said that Cadet Martin, who has Joined the R.N.Z.A.F. the work and they had all looked forward to the progress he would make in the Service.
Mr and Mrs A. Mcßae and family iWaimate) are spending a holiday in Temuka. The Rev. and Mrs Oxenbridge, of St. Luke's Vicarage. Te Kuiti. are spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs L. Prattley. North Town Belt, Temuka. Mr and Mrs W. A. Finlayson and family (Wellington) are the guests of Mr and Mrs John Deßenzy (Winchester). Mr and Mrs Woodley (Dunedin) are the guests of Mrs E. Allfrey. Wilkin Street.
Miss P. Washington left yesterday to spend a holiday in Hastings.
