NATIONAL SERVICE BILL
Opposition By Labour Organisations
LONDON. January 12
Two major trades union “rnuos, th” American Federation of Labour and the Congress of Industrial organisations have combined to oppose President Roosevelt’s National Service Bill proposals. Delegations from the two organisations will place their views before the President. Mr Roosevelt to-morrow will see Mr Phillip Murray; president of the Congress of Industrial Organisations, and Mr William Green, president of the American Federation of Latour.
American press comment generally suggests that not everybody Is going to like all the five points Of Mr Roosevelt's programme.
