CATTLE VALUES FIRM At the St. Andrews sale on Thursday approximately 80 head of steers, cows and heifers comprised the fat cattle section. Entries in the sheep sections were very small. Values on the whole for fat cattle held firm, with unfinished sorts being in less demand than at recent sales. Prices: Cattle—Prime heavy steers £l3/17/6 to £l7 ’7/6, light to medium £8 17 6 to £ll/17/6, prime heifers £9'2 6 to £ll 'l7/6. prime cows £9 2 6 to £ll 12 6. Sheep.—Fat lambs 23 10. fat ewes 10/10 to 14/6, wethers to 27, 4.
