Fat Sheep Decline Fair entries came forward for the fortnightly stock sale on Monday at the Temuka Saleyards. Fat sheep were easier by 4/- a head, as compared with the rates ruling at the Pleasant Point Sale. ’ The pig market was over-supplied and prices were down in this section by fully 6/- a head. There was a fairly large yarding of fat cattle, the quality being very good, and values showed little change oq late rates. The store sheep market was in keeping with last week’s sales. Prices were: — Fat Cattie Steers—Best, £l7/17/6 to £2O/17/6; Medium, £l4/17/6 to £l6/17/6; light, £ll to £l3/17/6. Heifers, best, £l4/0/0 to £l6/17/6; medium. £ll/0/0 to £l3/17/6 light, £7 to £lO.
