FRAUD ADMITTED
£lO6O Misappropriated (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Jan. 26. Five charges of fraudulently misappropriating moneys subscribed throughout New Zealand for the exploitation of Dominion raw materials for the manufacture of luminous paint were admitted in the Magistrate’s Court to-day by Leonard Bowley Bolton-Moss, aged 46, a company director, who recently was extradited from Australia. The total amount subscribed was £9146/10/-, of which £6938/19/6 was owing to subscribers, but the amount involved in the charges against BoltonMoss was qply £lO6O. In a statement to the police, BoltonMoss admitted the misappropriation of the money subscribed, all of which, he said, had been used. He had had no intention of fraud when the company was floated.
He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence by the Magistrate, Mr J. L. Stout.
