Chili And The Axis LONDON, January 20. The Chilean Senate last night approved the breaking off of diplomatic relations between Chile and the Axis by a three to one majority. The President (Dr.. Rios), who is expected to make a broadcast statement, has already taken steps to place strategic ports and mining centres under martial law. A round-up of suspects and the closing down of Axis organisations are expected to follow.
