LINCOLN COLLEGE
Short Courses For Soldiers
CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 12.
The arrangement of short courses for soldiers at Canterbury Agricultural College was outlined by the director (Professor E. R. Hudson) at a meeting of the Board of Governors this morning. Professor Hudson said that it was proposed to have week-end courses for some and longer courses for others. Arrangements had also been made for the college staff to prepare a number of handbooks on various aspects of farming. As far as charges were concerned, he said, these would be only nominal.
The question of instructional fees was discussed at length, but it was finally decided not to charge fees in the meantime, but that the position should be reviewed if the growth of the scheme warranted it.
