Fuel Shortage In Denmark (6.30 p.m.) STOCKHOLM. Jan. 8. Owing to dwindling German coal deliveries, Denmark is facing the most critical fuel situation in its history. Only 11.000 tons arrived during the first week in January, representing one day’s consumption. All textile factories expect to cease production on Monday. Some industries have already been brought to a standstill.
