Alleged
(N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 2. Leonard Rowley Bolton Moss, aged 45, has arrived in Wellington from Australia, escorted by DetectiveSergeant J. Thompson. [A cablegram published on December 10 said that Moss was remanded on bail of £lOOO at the Central Court, Sydney, on December 9, when charged with the theft of £5OO from Hamilton’s (Australia and New Zealand) Co., Ltd., of which he was managing director. The chief police prosecutor said the defalcations were alleged to be approximately £9OOO. He understood that charges involving more than that amount would be preferred in New Zealand.]
