Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs A. D. Cameron, King Street, that their son, Lance-Corporal Maurice Cameron, who was reported missing, believed prisoner of wai-, is a prisoner of war. Mr and Mrs Gavin Smart, Greymouth, are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. T. Smart, “The Grange,” Temuka. Mrs Dorothy Hopkinson, Wilkin Street, has received word that her husband. Private George (Tommy) Hopkinson, is a prisoner of war. He was previously reported missing, believed prisoner. Mrs V. Thomas and family, King Street, are spending a holiday at Abbotsford, Green Island. Miss I. Blathwayt returned to Christchurch on Monday to resume her duties at the Christchurch Hospital. Mr and Mrs A. Hope. Fraser Street, have received word that their son, Private Jack Hope, is a prisoner of war. Miss Hazel Hopkinson, Nelson, is spending her annual holidays with her mother Mrs J. Hopkinson, Wilkin Street, Temuka. Word has been received by Mr and Mrs M. Nolan, Temuka, that their son. Private J. Nolan, is now a prisoner of war.
