TO BE CONTESTED
Use Of Schools By Military (PA.) WELLINGTON. Jan. 28. The Wellington Education Board to-day adopted resolutions that it would resist the taking over of schools for military purposes until absolute necessity or the absence of other accommodation was shown; also that a conference between the Ministers of Education and Health and other interested parties be held to clarify the position. During the discussion it was urged that the interests of picture theatres and hotels should be sacrificed before those of education; also that public halls and commercial buildings could be adapted.
