LYALLDALE
SOCIAL AND DANCE The Lyalldale Patriotic Committee and Women's Institute recently held u successful social and dance in the Lyalldale School to raise funds for soldiers' parcels and Red Cross , rposes. The results of the various competitions were: Grocery order. Miss E. Kinross. Iced cake, Mrs J. Daly. Christmas hamper, Mr R. Gray. Tobacco, Mr H. Seeler. Framed picture, Mr 8. Bishop. The picture was handed back by Mr Bishop and was then won by Mr O. Borman. Miss Kinross and Mr Seeler generously donated the value of their trophies to the fund. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss M. Johnson and Mr O. Borman.
