ASHBURTON R.C.

ACCEPTANCES

TRAINER’S VIEW OF BREAKDOWN

SYDNEY, September 9.

“I am afraid he will never race again,” said the trainer (R. S. Bagby), referring to Kindergarten’s breakdown. “It is certain that he will not rice this spring and at this moment I do not see how he can stand another preparation. Whether Kindergarten returns to New Zealand before the rest of my team depends on shipping facilities. I will stay with my other horses until after the spring races.”

The jockey (H. N. Wiggins) has made no plans to return to New Zealand. Circumstances might cause him to accept engagements for the principal spring meetings in Australia.
