SOCIAL EVENINGS Residents and friends gathered to welcome home Mr and Mrs Doxon Chamberlain, who were recently married. Dancing was held in Mr W. Bell’s granary, the music being supplied by an orchc-tra, with extras by Misses M. Evans, N. O’Donoghue and Mr I. Murray. Mr H. Riddle was M.C. Miss M. Bennett contributed two songs. During the evening, Mr Robt. Parry took the opportunity of welcoming Mrs Chamberlain to the district. At the weekly euchre evening held in the school, the winners of the monthly aggregate were Miss H. Murray and Mr C. J. Ward, while Miss Murray and Mr J. A. Ward were winners for the evening.
