FOOD FOR EIRE
Offer By A merica (Rec. 6.30) WASHINGTON, May 20. President Roosevelt has disclosed that the United States has offered to sell or charter two ships to Eire and supply food to the value of 500.000 dollars. The ships could carry much more food, indcating that Eire intended purchasing supplies. Mr Roosevelt said that nothing had been done about supplying military equipment to Eire.
