STUDHOLME SALE

SMALL YARDING There was a much smaller yarding than usual at the Studholme sale. There was a good inquiry for sheep and late rates were fully maintained. A large yarding of cattle met with a disapnointing sale. Values were: Cattle: Fat steers £lO/17/6, fat heifers £6/12/6 to £B/12/6, two year steers £6. Sheep: Fat wethers £1 to £l/2/10 fat lambs £l/0/10, 2-tooth Romney cross ewes, good £l/14/6, 2-tooth Sbred ewes, medium £l/5/6, B.M. DIVIDENDS DECLARED

: WELLINGTON, May 8. The Kaitangata Coal Companv Ims declared a dividend of 2/6 a share for the year ended February, payable on May 15.
