(Rec. 1.30 am.) NEW YORK, May 8. Shipping circles disclosed to-day that the Red Cross liner Nerissa was sunk with the loss of 122 lives, including 11 American aviators. The Nerissa was torpedoed on the night of April 30, 1000 miles from a Canadian port.
