Hitler Continuing Preparations By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, Novembei; 22. Brigadier-General C. E. C. G. Charlton has warned the Home Guard that Hitler is continuing his preparations for the invasion of Britain and that he will move if ever he gets the sligh' "t superiority in the air. Brigadier-General Charlton declared that setbacks for the Axis elsewhere were likely to encourage an enemy attempt at a short cut to victory. Field-Marshal Sir Cyril Deverell said: “Germany ha-, troops, ships and aeroplanes ready in France to take advantage of any slackening in our vigilance or a favourable moment, whether military or political. She waited six months for the righ moment to attack the Low Countries. No specific danger will pass until the war is won.” Meantime the Oslo radio has announced the extension of restricted areas along the southern and we tern coasts of Norway, because of important military preparations. The public are prohibited from this area.
