TRUSTEES MEET
NEW EDUCATION FELLOWSHIP By Telegraph Pres? Association WELLINGTON, November 20 The annual meeting of the New Education Fellowship trustees was held in Wellington to-day, those present including Sir Thomas Hunter (chairman), and Dr. C. E. Beeby. The report on the year’s work showed that continued assistance had been given new education fellowship groups in providing books in the public libraries at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and at the community centre, Feilding. Educational books, valued at nearly £2OO, had been provided for the use of members of the fellowship and the general public since the trust began work. During the year an important report on physical education had been published, and assistance had been given to an experiment in nursery school work at Christchurch, and to a scheme for circulating Carnegie art reproductions in Auckland primary schools. Further applications for assistance were received and considered at the meeting. The two funds, general and library, administered by the trustees, now stand at more than £6OO and more than £5OO respectively.
