GOAT SAVES FAMILY COW
Lily Belle, a goat, is a heroine in the eyes of Fred Webber's family, who live at Damariscotta, states a New York paper. The goat appeared at the Webber home rece-'tly and bleated to attract attention, ran a few steps toward a pasture, then returned and repeated the procedure. Ultimately Webber followed the animal and was led to a deep ravine where his cow had become tangled In a chain and nearly strangled.
