ALL SECTIONS EASIER By Telegraph Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, November 20 Entries were large in most sections at the Addington market to-day and prices were easier. Spring lambs were down 2/6, light ewes 2/6 to 3/-, light wethers 1/6 to 2/-, and cattle 25/- to 35/- a head. Store Sheep There was little change in store sheep, of which 1500 were forward, mostly wethers. Shorn werhers sold well Best halfbred two-tooths made 20/6, four-tooths 20/-. and ewes and lambs 14/-. Fat Lambs There was an entry of 450 and prices dropped back to nearly export rates. Fat Sheep There was an entry of 4700. Best wethers made 36/- to 43/7, medium 33/- to 35/-, light to 28/-, best ewes 33/- to 38/-, good 28/- to 32/6, ordinary to 20/-. Fat Cattle The entry of 560 was in excess of requirements. Heavy steers made £l7 to £24, medium £l3 to £l5, ordinary £lO to £l2, light to £9, best heifers to £l6. good to £l3, ordinary to £9. good cows to £l4, light down to £7/10/-. Pigs The porker entry was just sufficient and the sale was an excellent one. There was a full bacon entry and prices were firm. Pork averaged 8d to 9d per lb., and bacon 6ld to 7Jd.
