MOTHER’S FAITH
"MY SONS WILL RETURN” "I never believed my boys would not come back. I always had faith that they were safe.” Mrs John Davidscn, of Glasgow, said this to a newspaper reporter four months after she had t en told officially that her two sons had been lost at sea on the steamer Haxby. Now she has heard that they are safely In Britain, rescued on the high seas from a Nazi prison ship by the British submarine, Truant. The sons are Dennis, aged 23, and James, aged 23. “I just had a feeling that they would come back all right,” Mrs Davidson said.
