Rich Find Near Glenmark By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 20. Dr. W. B. Oliver, Director of the Dominion Museum, has been visiting the south, where, among other activities, he Investigated moa finds at Wakari, which the Canterbury Museum authorities have unearthed. He is -enthusiastic, and believes that what is being unearthed will go a longway towards clarifying the position as regards the various species of moa, the skeletons being complete individual skeletons, not just a mixture of bones. Many mistakes made in the past will now be rectified, he says. The skeletons are being recovered from a swamp area called Pyramid Gully. About 25 have so far been retrieved, and apparently many more are to come. The area is near Glenmark, where SilJulius von Haast, in the early days, found moa remains in quantity.
