More Raids On Italian Bases United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received November 19, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 18 An account of patrol action last month at Liboi, near the Italian Somaliland frontier, which was released to-day, reveals the arrival of armoured cars from South Africa and their effective employment. Four of these armoured cars successfully attacked a large force of the enemy, inflicting heavy casualties. A communique, issued in Cairo, states that the situation on all fronts is unchanged. The Air Ministry states that the Royal Air Force bombed El Basan, hitting military stores and starting a fire. Benghazi, Solium, Bardia and Tobruk were also raided. Gura was heavily damaged and a building set on fire. Direct hits at Agordat set fire to railway sidings. An Admiralty communique states that British light forces bombarded and seriously damaged oil tanks, antiaircraft defences and the landing pier at Dante.
