“TIMES” OFFICE HIT
Publication In Spite Of Damage United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received October 13, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 12. A heavy bomb struck “The Times” newspaper office in a recent raid but did not interrupt production. Mr Churchill sent his personal congratulations to “The Times,” which, although the premises were much damaged, succeeded in producing editions without interruption or delay with no evidence whatever of the explosion )r its consequences. The “Daily Express” is another newspaper whose premises suffered recently as a result of night bombing.
