SHOT IN BACK
DEERSTALKER IN SERIOUS CONDITION By TplPeraph Pres? Association GREYMOUTH, October 12. William Hannah, a lorry driver, aged 42. of Kopara, was admitted to the Grey Hospital this morning in a critical condition as a result of a shooting accident at Kopara. It is understood that the injured man was out deer stalking with his brother, David Hannah, when he received a severe bullet wound in the lower portion of the back. It is believed that David Hannah fired at what he thought was a deer about 30 or 40 yards away in the bush and that the bullet struck his brother.
